Mission Statement
Adolescence, the time between the ages of 11 and 15, is a transitional time for the learner where many physical, emotional and social changes are taking place. It is a time to imagine and create; a time to seek an image; a time to look back and a time to look forward; a time to wonder; a time to doubt. It is a time for young people to approach life's realities filled with happiness as well as uncertainty. It is a time when they are no longer children and they are not yet adults. They are, indeed, unique human beings.
We must constantly work to understand their special needs and openly express a strong desire to work with them to meet these needs. Our middle school must be a place of caring and concert.
The middle school must be considered as one part of a whole, well-unified program of education, developing out of a philosophy which recognizes the pupils' mental, physical, emotional and social growth as a process which is continuous from the beginning of his whole school experience. The middle school program is essentially a program of general education experiences. Therefore, we are committed to a program which is based on the belief that the curriculum must be adapted to the needs, interests, and aptitudes of the learners.
