FHSF Announces 2012 Scholarship Recipients

Group Awards 19 $1,000 Scholarships at this year’s Commencement Exercises

The Fort Hill Scholarship Fund (FHSF) awarded nineteen $1,000 scholarships at the school’s 2012 commencement exercises held on May 30, 2012. Established in 2008, the FHSF has steadily increased the amount of scholarships awarded from three to twenty over the last four years. The 20th scholarship, entitled “Scholarship Assistance Fund”, is set aside to offer financial assistance with fees associated with scholarship applications.

The FHSF has a mission “to invest in the lives, dreams, and futures of Fort Hill students by providing funds to complete their educations.” For more information about contributing to the endowment fund or to create a scholarship, contact Sandy Martin at 301-777-2570, via email at sandra.martin@acps.k12.md.us, or by visiting the website at www.forthillscholarshipfund.org.
