Hurricane Sandy Results in School Closings, Altered Events for Weekend of Nov. 1-3
Due to school closings on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, October 29-31, 2012, as a result of Hurricane Sandy, the Allegany County Public School System has adjusted the schedule for athletic games and events for the weekend of November 1-3, 2012.

- Smithsburg Boys’ Soccer at Allegany (quarter finals) at 3 p.m.
- Clear Spring Girls’ Soccer at Fort Hill (quarter finals) at 5 p.m.
- Mt. Ridge Boys’ Soccer at Brunswick at 7 p.m.
- Fort Hill Pep Rally at 7 p.m.
- Allegany Girls’ Soccer at Mountain Ridge at 8 p.m.
Friday, November 2, 2012
- Freshman Football Allegany vs. Fort Hill at 4 p.m.
- JV Football Allegany vs. Fort Hill at 6 p.m.
- Brunswick Girls’ Volleyball at Allegany at 6 p.m.
