CUW, Wal-Mart Partner for "Stuff the Bus"

August 17th Event is a Local School Supply Donation Initiative
On Friday, August 17, 2012, the County United Way and the LaVale Wal-Mart will partner from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. to sponsor a local school supply donation initiative entitled “Stuff the Bus.”
United Way volunteers will be on-hand during the drive to supervise the school supply collection efforts. All supplies collected at the event will be distributed to all Allegany County public elementary schools, Calvary Christian Academy, Bishop Walsh School, and Lighthouse Christian Academy.
People interested in volunteering their time to collect school supplies during the event should contact Linda Toey at 301-722-2700 or via email at ltoey@allconet.org. Garrett, Hampshire and Mineral Counties are also participating in the “Stuff the Bus” campaign.
