 Mt. Savage School, in educational partnership with the community is dedicated to providing a disciplined and caring learning environment. Each student is expected to develop to his or her potential in order to participate effectively in a diverse and ever-changing society.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

 Believing that students are the future of society, Mt. Savage Middle School teachers are committed to understanding the unique backgrounds, developmental needs, and goals of each student. Middle school students are eager to learn when they understand their expectations and are exposed to various learning styles and strategies. They are responsible for their actions, respectful to others and themselves, and have the right to learn.  Middle school programs will reflect student’s interests, include valuable learning experiences, and have positive group interactions and be diverse in nature so as to reach each child.

Middle school teachers and staff will establish routines, guidelines, and enforce policies consistently.  Curriculum will meet the needs of students by covering appropriate content as described by county and state guidelines and will be responsible and relevant to educating students for an ever-changing world.
