About the PTA – The Frost PTA is an organization of parents, teachers, family, and friends of Frost Elementary students.  Working together we plan programs, activities, fundraisers, and volunteer support in order to better the lives of the children in our community.

Current PTA News and Information:

PTA meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm. Our next meeting will be on November 11th at 6:30 p.m. The fourth and fifth grade students will have a special Veterans Day program. We hope to see you there!

FROST PTA NEEDS YOU  - Become a member today!  Membership dues are only $4.00 per person and it's not too late to join.  Contact Susan Yearing, 301-689-3618, or email: say2004@verizon.net

Pasta Fundraiser - The fall Pasta Fundraiser will start on Wednesday, November 4 and end on Wednesday, November 18th. Orders will be in for Christmas delivery. Information and order forms are being sent home today. So sell your noodles off and help the PTA.

Spirit Night - A spirit night will be held on Thursday, November 12th at Fat Boys Pizza Shack in Frostburg. More details will be announced at the PTA meeting.

Box Tops for Education - Boxtop submission for the fall was $434.30 which along with the end of last year’s submission of $317.00 is a grand total of $751.30 . Frost was one of the top 10 schools in a 25 mile radius in Boxtop collections for last year. WAY TO GO! If everyone would also go to the boxtops website at btfe.com and sign up, the school can receive more free boxtops. Great job to chairperson Laurie Crowe.

Fall Craft Days - Thanks to Jenn Porter, Vicki Peterson and YanLing Fan for helping the students on Fall Craft Days.

Holiday Store - The elves will have the Holiday Store open early in December for student shopping.

• Collect Box Tops - Since 2002, Frost Elementary has earned almost $6,000 through the Box Tops 4 Education Program just from parents buying certain products and collecting the box tops coupons. Keep collecting and sending in your Box Tops each month. Please do not forget to send in Box Tops by Friday, October 23rd. More collection sheets are available in the office.
