Dear Parents / Guardians,
Math skills help show that Frost students care for others! Frost students have done an incredible job this year with the Mathathon. Students raised a total of $4,217.00 to send to the patients at St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Frost school does a wonderful job caring for others and we are so proud of our students! We want to thank Mrs. Kirk for running the program at our school. Thanks to all who helped make the Mathathon a success!
We would like to thank the dads and grandfathers who came to classrooms to read to students for our "Dads Read to Succeed" activity on March 1st. We had 46 readers visit classrooms making this fun activity a success!!
A huge "Thank You" to Frost's PTA for another awesome Fun Night. We are so fortunate to have so many parents that help make exciting activities for the students at Frost Elementary School. We are very lucky.
Thank you to everyone who helped. Frost Elementary students are participating in the "Pennies for Patients" campaign that supports the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Students will be collecting pennies and placing them in their classroom box. Our campaign begins on April 8th and continues through Friday, April 26th.
The Allegany County Phone Book Recycling Campaign begins on March 18th and continues through April 30th. Allegany Phone Books will be collected and the school will receive a cash prize based on the number of books collected. We will collect Allegany County Phone Books until April 30th.
A reminder to parents and guardians: MSA Science testing will be held for the students in fifth grade on April 22nd and April 23rd. Please do not schedule appointments for your child/children during these days if at all possible. Also, make certain that students arrive on time. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Sincerely,
Kim Smith, Principal
