Consider an exciting career in industrial manufacturing. Instruction in the machine and tool career area will include setting up and operating those machines commonly used in the machine trades including engine lathes, milling machines, drills presses, precision grinders, shapers, and power saws. Students will learn how to operate this equipment safely and how to use accepted practices and procedures for the industrial workplace. Students’ skills will be enhanced by instruction on computer-controlled machines which are the latest equipment used in the field.
